Our Standard Cover includes basic protection for your rental vehicle. A fixed excess applies in the event of damage or loss. Tyre, windscreen, and undercarriage damage may be excluded unless additional cover is purchased. Daily rates shown on your quote already reflect this cover tier.

Typical excess amounts are communicated at booking and on your rental agreement. Reducing your liability is possible by upgrading to Super or Executive Cover. Please read the rental terms for a full list of exclusions and obligations.

Executive Cover is designed as a zero-excess option for qualifying rentals. Certain items remain excluded — for example tyres, windscreens, rims, hubcaps, interior damage, and undercarriage damage, unless explicitly stated otherwise in your agreement.

Always confirm cross-border use, driver age, and vehicle category with our team before travel. Exclusions may apply for negligence, off-road use, or unapproved drivers.

Full Cover combines our rental protection with external excess reimbursement insurance arranged through Hepstar (where available). A daily premium — from R 115 per day depending on vehicle and duration — may apply. This product can reimburse qualifying excess charges charged by the rental company, subject to the insurer's terms.
